As predicted here, the no-lap-dance bill in Ohio passed the state Senate. Governor Ted Strickland says it will become law without requiring his signature. Sorry, Ohio. But hey, with your obscene traffic laws, who goes there anyway?

Interesting development. The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) is opposed to the bill. Turns out the bill makes reference to the rating system used by the Association, and they object to the use of the trade association’s voluntary rating system in a legally binding document.
