According to the Asbury Park Press, Howell, NJ is the newest municipality being pressured to regulate adult businesses. Howell’s take is a bit different. In addition to the usual 1000 ft from schools, Howell’s proposal wants adult businesses in free-standing business dwellings (read: no strip malls) and a safe distance from residential or neighborhood commercial zones.
